Zak grew up in Florida playing little league baseball and taking Taekwondo. In 2009, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served till 2014. During his time in service he became a personal trainer through the International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and a High Intensity Tactical Training level 1 instructor through the Marine Corps. Weightlifting is his sport of choice which led him to obtain his USAW Sports Performance Level 1 Coach certification. He has trained athletes from 10-70 years of age and he enjoys watching these athletes overcome any obstacle he helps them train for. Through corrective exercise, mobility routines, strengthening programs, and sports specific training, Zak is equipped to help anyone who is ready, achieve their goals!

Martha is a graduate of the Wilmington Yoga Center’s 200 hour Kunga Yoga Teacher Training program, and has been a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher for over seven years.  Martha enjoys teaching the basics of yoga, focusing on alignment and balance, and will also offer breathing techniques and meditation that you can use in your daily life.  It is Martha’s goal to share with you the benefits of a mindful yoga practice, including but not limited to increased flexibility, increased self-awareness and self-confidence, relief of minor aches and pains, relief of stress and anxiety, and increased physical strength.  Modifications will always be offered, and every level of experience is welcomed to the yoga classes at FitMo.

Anita strives to provide a safe, comfortable, and positive training experience for everyone that chooses FitMo as their fitness family.  There is no “gym-timidation” when you’re under the guidance of Anita’s training, and if you choose the Group Training route, you’ll realize quickly that you’ve become part of a TRUE Fitness Family that pushes each other, that supports one another, and that you feel welcome in as soon as you walk in the door.

Anita is a Fitness Professional, but one that is approachable and down to earth.  She had a client tell her once that she described Anita to a friend by saying, “She’s not a ‘stick up the butt’ trainer.” What better compliment could a trainer ask for!

She has an extreme passion for helping people.

With over 10 years of experience training, coaching, and teaching individuals how to work towards a healthier lifestyle, Anita’s arsenal of helping tools is stocked!  Anita has taught at both the Community College and University levels in Health/Physical Education and Exercise/Sport Science.  She won an award in graduate school for being the Most Outstanding Graduate Teacher Assistant in the School of Human Health and Performance at UNC-Greensboro and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.  She attended UNC-Wilmington as an undergraduate student, graduating with Honors.  Anita played basketball and softball at the collegiate level and has also coached both sports.  Most recently, she played an integral role for the CFCC Lady Sea Devils Women’s Basketball Team during the first two seasons of the program’s existence by providing the team with strength and conditioning training and serving as Volunteer Assistant Coach.  Check out the video on our Home Page to see their bits of their first ever conditioning session.
